Payment

1. What forms of payment do you accept?

We only accept direct bank transfer. Reserve Bank of India has very tough norms for export receipts. Direct bank transfer is the most safest for you as goods are exported through Indian customs, and also it is the legitimate way for us to prove that the money is from the right person and for the business. We have to present custom attested invoices to the banks for any export receipts without which the payments are not released. But you can ask for you convenient payment method.

2. Do you accept payment by check or international money order?

Sorry, we cannot accept payments by personal check or money order. Cheques may take more than 20 days to get cleared untill which you have to wait for delivery and the there may be differences in currency market which will make the conditions more complicated. In India it is difficult for the banks here to handle these forms of payment.

3. Do you accept payment by wire transfer from my bank?

We can accept payments by wire transfer. First, select the gems you wish to order and email us with the gem ID's and the shipping method you prefer. We'll send you the total cost and our banking details.

4. I don't have a credit card. How can I buy from you?

If you have a debit card with the VISA or Mastcard logo, you may be able to use it. Alternatively, you can use a wire transfer from your bank is the BEST way to make payment.

5. Do you accept payment by American Express?

We're sorry, we do not currently accept payment by American Express. We currently accept payment through bank transfer.

6. I bought 4 gems in my cart and the next day 2 of them were gone. What happened?

Items will be saved in your cart for 3 days. There are 3 reasons items might disappear before the 3 days are up: A. Another customer buys the item. B. You use a different computer to access our site. C. You clear your browser cache and delete cookies from your system.

7. How often do you add new gems to your website? What day should I look to see the new gems?

We add new gems to our website every day except on public holidays. New gems can be found in New Product list, which will show you all the gems we've added in the last couple of days.

8. I bought some gems last month. How do I find all the detailed information about them now?

When a gem is sold, we no longer show it on our website, since no one wants to shop for items that aren't available. However, the information for sold items can still be found. Just enter one or more gem ID's (separated by commas) in the search box on any page, and it will bring up the records for those gems. The gem ID is the 4 or 6 digit number that you'll find on every detail page. We include the gem ID's in any emails we send you about your purchase.
